2024 under the sign of sustainability
According to a survey of participants at the Electronica 2023 trade fair, the electronics and digital industry is seen by the majority as a trailblazer for future topics such as climate protection.
The majority of respondents are already using digital structures to save resources and optimize production. These include the use of green electricity or our own renewable energy sources, e-mobility concepts and recycling, as well as the automation of ordering and production processes.
Photocad 2024 will also focus on climate protection and digitalization: our digitally controlled systems and processes will be further expanded, our resource-saving and climate-neutral production will be continuously optimized and our online store offering will be expanded.
Companies must think sustainably in order to remain competitive. In addition to reducing energy costs, long-term customer loyalty and ensuring stable supply chains are crucial. Last but not least, the future of the industry also depends to a large extent on young talent. It is therefore up to us to arouse the interest of the younger generation in the industry – and we can do this with sustainable ideas.
