“Laser-cut SMT have a slight cutting ridge at the openings. Subsequent deburring removes these burrs. Up to now, brushing systems have been used primarily for this purpose – the abrasives used in this process quickly blunt when used frequently. To achieve better quality in the production of SMT, Photocad GmbH therefore relies on the DiscMaster 4TD from Jakob Löwer GmbH.”
