This is where AI technology comes into play: it could help to collect, analyze and transform data, and in times of chatbots, autonomous vehicles and smart robots, the influence of AI is increasingly being discussed. It is clear that technology contributes to the optimization of operational processes, which enables responsible and economical action. For example, AI and machine learning could be a driving force in the manufacturing industry if they make production more autonomous and reduce CO2 emissions.

At Photocad, we are already achieving “green zero” with our automated and climate-neutral production of SMT stencils. To this end, we keep our systems and processes up to date with the latest digital technology, pursue resource-conserving production, use a recycling and deposit system for packaging and offset CO2 emissions by supporting a climate protection project. If AI creates added value in terms of sustainability, we are open to new developments.
