ASM: RFID Chip for Smart Print Cycle Management
High quality and stability during the printing process are top priority with our SMT. But when is the maximum use of the template reached? It is important for quality assurance to replace the stencil at the right moment, even before it loses tension.
“SmartStencil”, ASM’s RFID-based print cycle management is the solution for complete transparency in the number of print cycles. Thanks to RFID chip, the counter is directly connected to the stencil – regardless of type, material or frame of the stencils.
When the defined number of print cycles is reached, there is a warning or stop signal. Printing with the template is then no longer possible unless an authorized employee unlocks it. In the future, as a partner of ASM, we will also offer SmartStencil for our SMT.
