First save, then offset: Our contribution to climate protection
The current energy crisis is also once again fueling the issue of climate protection. This raises the question of what companies, what each individual can do to make sustainable savings.
But climate protection does not start with saving. The first priority is to avoid contamination. That’s why we purchased company bicycles a few years ago, so that our team of 10 can avoid driving.
In addition, we save money through our recycling and deposit system: you receive a credit when you return the stencil mailing bag and we recycle the packaging. We also only sell environmentally friendly cleaning products for SMT and pay attention to resource-saving production.
This is how we minimize our ecological footprint as a company. To offset the remaining CO2 emissions, we are supporting a water treatment project in Kenya in cooperation with ClimatePartner, thus achieving “green zero”. Thus, we have already offset around 90 tons of CO2 annually since 2016.
